On your drive to work today you may have noticed fewer construction projects on our roads.
That's because most projects in our area are winding down for the season.  Walter Burdz with Manitoba Highways says all seal coating and microsurfacing projects are now complete.  Burdz says it's been an ideal summer for construction.  Along Highway #75, the southbound lanes from Winnipeg to St. Adolphe should be open to traffic by late October.  As for Highway #59, Burdz says the twinning project is going great and the new lanes should be open this fall.  One project that has yet to start but which should get underway shortly is repair work along Highway #1, east of Hadashville.
