Motorists in the Southeast can expect deteriorating road conditions Friday evening.

Roads were bare earlier today but now they are snow covered with blowing and drifting snow.

Drivers are also encountering slush.

The temperature will fall to -9 Friday night, warming up to -2 on Saturday and that could create ice patches.
