Reimer and Barkman intersections reopened to traffic as construction continues

Road construction on Main Street in Steinbach continues, and there are a number of traffic changes to be aware of. 

Since the beginning of the project on May 13th, vehicles have not been able to cross Main Street at either the Reimer Avenue or Barkman Avenue intersections. That has now changed. Both intersections are now fully reopened. 

That said, construction crews have moved over to Lumber Avenue and traffic can no longer cross Main Street at that intersection.

According to the province, Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure is completing concrete pavement repairs along Main Street, and though traffic is still flowing, one lane remains closed in both directions.
