It's projects are always aimed at improving health care at Bethesda Hospital. Last year it raised money for a hydrotherapy tub for the new labour and delivery rooms at Bethesda.  And this year the plan is to purchase 2 electric sit/stand lifts for the rehabilitation unit plus 4 infusion pumps for the medical ward and chemotherapy unit.  The equipment is going to cost $33,000.  They're going to start raising that money on November 3rd at their annual fundraising dinner.  Thiessen says the hospital wouldn't be able to purchase equipment like this on its own and so the auxilliary is thrilled to help them out in this way.
