Ste. Anne residents are asked to raise their voices, but not in song. Rather in support of a safer, well lit crosswalk on Central Avenue.  Councillor Craig Cumming says the province won't look into the issue until manpower becomes available.  But that might be too late.  He says there are many school kids and residents crossing Central every day and something needs to change to improve safety.  Cumming hopes residents will contact local M.L.A. Ron Lemieux, who also happens to be the Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation.  If enough people make enough noise, Cumming believes there will be action much quicker than if the issue is left alone.
