Hanover Fire responds to collision and a vehicle fire Friday evening

Emergency crews were called to a collision in Mitchell early Friday evening.

Hanover fire crews were called at 5:17pm to the intersection of Highway 52 and Peters Lane where two vehicles had collided.

Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says there were no injuries.

The highway is closed to westbound traffic while crews clear the scene.

Meanwhile, Hanover Fire was also called to a vehicle fire Friday evening on Highway 205 west of Grunthal.

That call came in at 5:30pm.
