The Winnipeg Goldeyes six-game road trip came to an end on Wednesday night with a 7-6 loss to Sioux City. T.J. Bohn won it for the Explorers with a bases-loaded single off Winnipeg reliever John Plefka in the bottom of the 11th inning. Ridge Carpenter had three hits for the Goldeyes who pounded out 17 hits but also stranded 17 base runners. Thursday is a travel day for the Fish. The Goldeyes, who have a one game lead over St. Paul in the race for first place in the American Association's North Division, will open a three-game series with the Saints on Friday at Shaw Park.
