If you're looking to celebrate Canada Day but still interested in doing some work at the same time, head to Mennonite Heritage Village July 1st.  Executive Director Gary Martens has come up with a new demonstration he'd like to try out.  Martens would like to introduce people to the way weeds were pulled on fields 100 years ago.  He is looking for 100 people to make one pass down the field, resulting in all weeds being pulled in 30 minutes.  Organizers expect about 1,500 visitors that day.  The museum has been selected as the Manitoba site for celebrating Canada Day this year.
