The Hanover School Board is working to improve communication for trustees.
Spokesperson Karen Peters says it's becoming increasingly important that all trustees receive information from the office in a timely fashion.  The board is discussing a proposal to provide all trustees with high speed internet service and the appropriate software and technical support to receive e-mail.  Trustees will be required to purchase their own computers.  Peters adds they also talked about providing each trustee with a laptop computer to cut down on the large volume of paper generated for every meeting.  But that plan has been shelved for now.  Trustees are also being encouraged to have voice mail on their phones and to check it regularly.
