Steinbach RCMP are investigating after an alleged assault with a weapon over the weekend.

Police say the incident happened on Sunday in Steinbach at approximately 2 am. 

Three individuals now face charges, including a 20-year-old female from Steinbach, a 48-year-old male from Steinbach and a 16-year-old male from Mitchell.

Meanwhile, in a separate matter, Steinbach RCMP are also investigating an alleged domestic assault over the weekend.

According to police, it happened in Steinbach on Saturday at 4:27 am. A 20-year-old male from Steinbach now faces charges of assault.
