As people are starting to throw their name in the hat for the municipal elections in October, 1 man is saying farewell to politics.  The reeve for the R.M. of Hanover has decided not to seek re-election this fall.  John Driedger appreciates the opportunity he has had to serve but is quite ready to let someone else take over.  Looking back on his 8 year term, Driedger remembers the challenge of growth in the R.M. especially in the areas of planning.  But he says that is the nature of Hanover and makes it an interesting place to be involved.  As for the future, Driedger feels there will be plenty of opportunities to come his way, but he will wait and see before making any commitments.
