Police say injuries were not serious following a two-vehicle crash Monday morning at Landmark.

St. Pierre RCMP responded to the crash at 7:45 am. Police say it happened at the intersection of Provincial Roads 210 and 206, at the south end of Landmark.

According to RCMP, a northbound vehicle was attempting to turn onto PR 210 but proceeded when it was unsafe to do so. The vehicle ended up colliding with a southbound vehicle.

Police say there were minor injuries to both drivers who were treated at the scene and released.

As a result, the driver of the northbound vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Blumenort, was issued a ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for proceeding before it was safe. He was fined $174.
