Support Steinbach & Area Animal Rescue by playing Chase The Ace tonight

Chase The Ace is back tonight at the Smitty’s lounge in Steinbach. 

President of Steinbach and Area Animal Rescue (SAAR), Michelle Neufeld, says how much you could win if you draw the ace this Monday.

“The pot is at $4,914, which is what the winner would get. We don't post our house, we just post what the winner would get.” 

Neufeld shares what the rescue’s half of the pot will go toward. 

“It goes to various things, vet bills, our new building. Probably most likely vet bills.” 

For those who don’t know how to play Chase The Ace, SAAR provides a step-by-step guide. 

Buy tickets and wait for the draw, if your ticket is drawn, go up to the ticket table and select a card. 

If you pick up the ace of spades, you get half of the pot (If you win tonight, you get $4,914). If the card is not the ace of spades, you still win 10 percent of ticket sales from the evening. 

Each week, the jackpot grows until the ace is drawn. 

They are now down to 38 cards left. 

Tickets are two for $5, and are on sale from 6:30pm-8:30pm with the draw at 8:35pm.
