“We are so excited!” 

This from Stony Brook Pantry – the famous specialty bulk food and giftware shop located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach.  

On November 14th, 2020, a neighbouring business suffered a massive fire, and Stony Brook Pantry had to close their doors due to severe smoke damage. Throughout the following months, the front of the store has seen a major facelift.  

The ownership and staff say that it feels like it's been a long ordeal, but they’re excited about their new look.  

“We want to celebrate with all our wonderful customers!”  

Reflecting on their journey, the ownership and staff at the popular home goods store says they have experienced many ups and downs, and overall incredible support and patience from their loyal customers, and the community at large. 

One of the reasons for this support is likely because Stony Brook Pantry is a one-of-a-kind store. The business features a baking nook that’s filled with an assortment of specialty flours, whole grains, spices, and other baking ingredients that include a large selection of gluten-free flours and mixes. You'll also find candy, bubble tea ingredients, Stone City coffee, and Monin syrups. 

They also carry unique gifts that are both practical and of good quality. The giftware department at Stony Brook Pantry includes popular brands like Corkcicle, Woodwick, Beekman, Jelly Cat, Kikkerland, and Wrendale – just to name a few. Wall decor throughout the store creates a warm atmosphere as well. 

Not only that, but Stony Brook Pantry is also proud to be the leading Manitoba dealer of the acclaimed Bosch Kitchen Mixer, and they sell attachments and parts for the mixer, too.  

Store hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Stony Brook Pantry will be celebrating their Grand Opening and Customer Appreciation on August 26th and 27th. They hope everyone will join them for the celebration which will include taste testing, door prizes, discounts, and giveaways!
