Special church services during Easter weekend

Easter weekend is upon us and there are many church services, celebrations and events to bring people together.

Here is a list of a few services in the Southeast.

Easter Sunrise Service will take place on Easter Sunday at 7am Grace Mennonite Church, 430 Third Street, Steinbach. A freewill offering will be taken to support the Eastman Choral Association.

Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Steinbach – Jesus, the Rejected, sacrificed Himself to save the world. Our Lord died on a cross so we could be free. Join us on March 29 for Good Friday with a special service at 10:00 am as we reflect on his sacrifice together through scriptures, performances, and worship. He is risen, The King! Jesus died on the cross, but that wasn't the end of the story. Join us for Easter Sunday as we celebrate our risen King. This is happening during our regular service times at 9:30 am and 11:15 am. Invite your friends, everyone is welcome!

Marchand Chapel – Easter Sunday Service followed by potluck lunch, bring salad/entree or desert.  

EMC, Main Street Steinbach – Good Friday worship service and communion 10am / Easter Sunday Service 10:45am  

Evangelical Fellowship Church – Woodhaven, Steinbach- Good Friday Service 10am / Easter Sunday Service 10am  

Southland Church, Hwy 52W Steinbach – Good Friday – Prayer Summit 9am / Easter Services 9am and 11am  

Calvary Church, Main Street Steinbach – Good Friday service 10am / Easter Service 10am  

United Church, Main Street Steinbach – Maundy Thursday 5pm - 7pm – there is no service, but the church will be open for anyone who needs a quiet place for a time of reflection.  Good Friday service 4pm – everyone is welcome to share a light fellowship meal and communion. Easter Sunday Service – 10:15am  

St Paul's Lutheran Church, Henry Street, Steinbach – Maundy Thursday 6pm – Youth Group will be hosting pancake dinner – 7pm Service with communion. Good Friday – 10am Service. Saturday 10am – Easter Family Fun Time. Easter Sunday 7:30am Sunrise contemporary service with communion followed by a potluck breakfast and 9:30am Traditional service with communion and baptisms.  

Grace Mennonite Church, Steinbach – Maundy Thursday, 7pm to 8pm – you are invited to join in the telling of the Holy Week story and communion.  

Gospel Fellowship Church, Hwy 12, Steinbach – Easter Sunday – Easter Continental Breakfast 9:30am followed by service at 10:30am  

Grunthal CMC, 22 Church Ave, Grunthal – is hosting a special Easter Dinner April 7, 5pm – 7pm  (not on Easter wknd) 

Grunthal Bergthaler Church – Good Friday 10am – service with communion. Easter Sunday 10:45am 

Elim Mennonite Church, Main Street, Grunthal – Good Friday Service and Easter Sunday service everyone invited.
