After the snow ends, there is a good chance it will be followed by freezing drizzle late Friday evening and into Saturday morning.

According to the Space Age Kal Tire Road Report, highways are partly snow covered with swirling snow early Friday evening.

Precipitation amounts are not expected to reach significant amounts.

The temperature will only fall to around –5C on Friday night and we can expect a light wind which could polish the roads.

It will warm up on Saturday to +1 and freezing drizzle is expected for the early part of the morning.

If you’re planning to bring the family to the Great Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning, rubber boots might be the footwear of choice. There are also indoor activities for the kids and a coffee bar for the adults.

The sky will clear Saturday night, making way for sunshine on Easter Sunday and a high of +3.
