It is called "Widening Circles - Literacy And Learning For All." The Seine River School Division has acquired some top notch speakers for an international conference it will host in October, 2007.  It is called "Widening Circles - Literacy And Learning For All."  Assistant superintendent Debra Radi says the keynote address will come from Jane Elliot, who conducted the famous blue eyes-brown eyes experiment on discrimination.  Delegates will also hear from David Bouchard, a specialist in literacy and aboriginal education.  Radi notes educators from as far away as South Africa and Australia have expressed an interest in attending the event.
