A search party has hit the streets of Steinbach with hopes of locating Ryan Cody Maynard, who has been missing since November 20th.

The 29-year-old man was last seen along Cedar Crescent in Steinbach.

Allison Zaporozan met with a group of volunteers on Friday morning, December 2nd.

“The turnout so far has been absolutely amazing,” she says.

“Hopefully we can bring Ryan home,” says Dillon Funk.

Steinbach RCMP are supporting the search party.

“They are helping to conduct the search,” confirms Zaporozan. “We are all going to have cohorts and we’re going to, hopefully, find Ryan today.”

Ryan has a history of homelessness. Therefore, we can expect to see people searching in dumpsters, ditches, fields, and any place that could be used for shelter.
