As of 7:50 PM, Hwy 59 from Hwy 52 to Ile-des-Chenes is closed. Highway 75 is closed from Morris to St Norbert.

Roads throughout the southeast are listed as partly snow and ice-covered. Drivers are reporting extremely icy conditions on Highway 52 with near zero-visibility on the Trans-Canada and Highway 12.

Manitoba Hydro has reported outages near Mitchell affecting more than 800 households and businesses. Power was repaired after about an hour.

The weather forecast for Monday night has winds at up to 70 kmph and snow ending after midnight.
