Motorists are reporting quickly deteriorating road conditions as the Southeast gets a fresh snowfall this Tuesday evening.

One specific report cites slippery, snow-covered highways in the Red River Valley, however, snowfall is widespread throughout southeastern Manitoba.

Environment Canada is calling for 2-4 centimetres of snow with some rain mixed in. The wind is expected to shift to the north after midnight with gusts up to 50 kilometres per hour.
