As the Southeast Events Centre in Steinbach starts to take shape, the city would like to let motorists and residents know that due to work being done on the project, there is a planned road closure happening on Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
Hanover Street, from Reimer Avenue to the east side of the driveway at 321 Hanover St, is scheduled to close the morning of Wednesday, January 24 from 10am to 12noon, and on Thursday, January 25, all day, from 7am to 5pm.
Construction crews have been initiating temporary closures along this stretch for the past several weeks.
The city thanks motorists in advance for their patience, and for exercising caution when traveling through the area.
A section of Hanover Street will be closed Wednesday morning and all-day on Thursday.
