There's a chance Bartmanovich Road in the R.M. of Ritchot will soon have a new home. Enough is enough.  That is the way council for the R.M. of Ritchot and many of its ratepayers feel towards Bartmanovich Road in the Red River Drive area.  The road continually floods.  Mayor Bob Stefaniuk says instead of constantly pumping money into repairs it would be much wiser to relocate the road further north.  The municipality is asking the province to support the move.  Stefaniuk says because it is a municipal road, the cost would be covered by Ritchot.  He explains it is too early to estimate how much this project could cost but feels the province should also chip in because much of the flooding happens as a result of summer operation of the floodway.
