Although Kismet Creek is focused on being a sanctuary for farm animals, owner Karl Schoenrock is opening the farm to hold a puppy adoption event.

He recently got a phone call from the person who saved an adult female dog from being euthanized.

“She rescued this dog and a week and a half later it had eight puppies,” explains Schoenrock. “She's getting very overwhelmed with the puppies because they're a little bit older now and with everything else going on and kids, she just needs to get them good, quality homes as fast as she can.”

The mom is a black Lab crossed with Golden Retriever and the dad is a Chow Chow.

The pups are currently being cared for on a hobby farm and have been around other dogs, chickens, and children.

You can meet the pups at Kismet Creek on Saturday, April 29 from 11am-5pm.
