RCMP say a motorist was arrested last month near Niverville after crystal meth was found in his car.

Police say on February 24th at 2:10 am, St. Pierre RCMP stopped a car along Highway 59 near Provincial Road 311. 

According to RCMP, the driver provided several false names. He was arrested for obstruction. Officers searched the vehicle and located cash, crystal meth and numerous fake IDs. 

Twenty-two-year-old Cean Marcotte was remanded in custody.
