There are now five candidates seeking the Conservative nomination in Emerson. Ron Smith, a producer from the R.M. of Rhineland, has thrown his hat in the ring.  He says renewable agra-energy, immigratioin and infrastructure are key to Emerson constituency.  Smith has served on the R.M. of Rhineland council for eight years and is a Director for the Sunbelt Economic Development Group.  He joins Tammy Smook, Larry Tetrault, John Stephens and Cliff Graydon who are all trying to succeed Jack Penner as the next MLA for Emerson.  The nomination meeting has been scheduled for November 21st in Altona.
