There was a fair amount of interest in being on the R.M. of De Salaberry Council. Nine people are looking to fill the six seats on council and two people are running for Reeve.  There will not be a vote in ward two or four as Marc Marion and Bruno Hebert are in by acclamation.  The candidates for Reeve include imcumbent Bill Remenda and newcomer Ron Musick.  The full list of candidates for council can be found at www.steinbachonline.com
