Motorists can expect traffic disruption on Loewen Boulevard

As the city continues to work on the lift station on Loewen Boulevard, motorists should plan for a road closure this week. 

The traffic management plan for Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26 will see Loewen closed from Hanover Street up to 50 m east of Home Street. 

Also this week, two-way travel along Loewen Boulevard between 50 m east of Home Street and Henry Street is expected to be reinstated. 

There is an alternate route to access the hospital. 

In a release, The City stated that it “thanks motorists and pedestrians in advance for following all posted signage, exercising caution, and reducing speed in the area.”
