The recreation complex held a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.
A ribbon cutting ceremony officially launched a new era at the New Horizon centre in Grunthal.  The seniors recreation facility has spent over $50,000 in renovating and expanding the existing building.  President Neil Reimer of the board of directors tells us this has been a project that's been in the works for about 4 years.  They initially began thinking of renovating because their washrooms were in such bad condition.  Over 50 people were on hand for the ceremony including provincial and municipal dignitaries.
