"Walk for Fun and Duathlon" in Ste. Anne will raise money for the local hospital.
A race for healthcare.  Tomorrow's "Walk for Fun and Duathlon" in Ste. Anne will raise money for the local hospital.  Doctor Patrick Tredette tells us 10 years of holding the event has brought in between $70,000 and $100,000.  Anywhere between 100 and 200 people have participated in the event each year.  He is excited to see the duathlon attract people of all skill levels, from beginners to well known athletes like Erin Carter.  Proceeds from this year will go toward furnishing the new labour and delivery rooms in Ste. Anne.
