A jackknifed semi disrupted traffic Tuesday morning along the Trans Canada Highway.

The incident took place shortly before 8 am in the eastbound lanes just west of Deacon's Corner. A motorist says traffic could still drive through, though there were slight delays.

According to RCMP, the driver of the semi was attempting to slow down for the intersection as he was changing lanes, when his trailer jackknifed. There were no injuries.

The province is reporting the Trans Canada Highway as bare but with blowing/ drifting snow. Other highways in the southeast are listed as partly snow covered, including Highway 59, Highway 75 and Highway 52 west of Mitchell.
