Carolyn Peters and Roger Blatz stopped by last week to talk about this year's Community Christmas Hampers program and how they are anticipating a record breaking year for numbers of hampers requested. Hamper applications deadline is November 30th and they're working hard at staying on top of the many applications coming in.

If you're looking for ways to participate they have a few different ways you can be involved in this years program:

1. The annual Toys Days toy drive is in exactly two weeks where anyone can participate by donating a new unwrapped toy at Canadian Tire December 4 and 5.

2. You can also donate directly to Community Christmas at their website or write a cheque and drop it off or mail it to the SouthEast Helping Hands office at 525 Main St, Steinbach, MB R5G 0L5 .

3. You could also drive and deliver hampers later in December. If this is something you'd like to do you can register online at the Steinbach Community Christmas website.

Be a part of this amazing community undertaking. If we all give a little, we can make Christmas a special time for everyone.
