The Terry Fox Run in Steinbach on Sunday drew a record number of participants.
Co-chair Linda Goulet says it's exciting to see interest growing in this event.  This year 80 people took part, up from 30 when they first held the Run 4 years ago.  She says it's a fun filled time for everyone with activities like an obstacle course, horse rides and a full barbeque.  Cancer survivor Lori Penner says she takes part in this event because she wants to give something back.  Participant Brian Friesen says his son Oliver, who is a cancer survivor, is on medication that saved his life.  And that medication wouldn't be available if it wasn't for events like the Terry Fox Run.  The Run in Steinbach raised around $3,500.00.
