More freezing rain is impacting the province Sunday morning.

Environment Canada says a warm front will bring a "brief" period of freezing rain as it moves into the region.

The warning was issued at 8:30am and ended at 9:40am.

Steinbach could reach 8 degrees today with freezing rain and snow.

By Tuesday, it is expected to warm up to 10 degrees.

From Environment Canada

A warm front is spreading an area of freezing rain across western Manitoba this morning.

The threat for freezing rain will be fairly brief and will diminish on Sunday morning as westerly winds usher in above zero temperatures.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
