The Steinbach and District Farmers' Market enjoyed pretty good weather this year along with a lot of public support. The market ran each Thursday from July 6th to October 5th.  And President Ron Rudiak says they had poor weather on only one of those Thursdays.  Rudiak says in spite of the dry summer the vegetables at their markets were of excellent quality and above average quantity.  He says they had phenomenal support from the public with between 16 and 22 vendors each week.  But Rudiak says they will have to continue to grow in order to keep up with the growth of our city.
