Christmas lights at Shinbashi Station (Tokyo, Japan)

Christmas in North America is a wonder-filled time of year. The lights, the food, family gatherings, ugly Christmas sweaters, gift exchanges and more. Around the World, the celebrations vary from place to place, and we wanted to highlight some of those special traditions, with what we call "Christmas, Around the World". The multiculturalism in Southern Manitoba is a really special thing. And so we've called on some friends to join the AM 1250 Morning Show, and tell us about what Christmas was like for them, in Japan, Punjab, Brazil, Mexico, and Germany!

Our first guest is originally from the Tinker Creek/Morden area, and currently calls Tokyo, Japan home. Jordan Nickel shared some Japanese traditions with AM1250's Jayme Giesbrecht and you can hear it all in the AM1250 Audio Vault.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
