A pick-up truck struck the back of a school bus Wednesday morning in Steinbach. It happened around 8:30am on Giesbrecht Street near Blue Jay Place. 

The Hanover School Division issued the following statement: 

“This morning, a school bus transporting students to Southwood School was involved in a minor traffic accident in Steinbach. Parents have been notified. 
 
EMS is on the scene and, in an abundance of caution, is triaging all students. Students are all doing well and will be transported back to Southwood School. For those students involved, parents may, at their discretion, choose to pick up their children from the school and take them home. 
 
We’d like to thank our HSD staff and the EMS personnel for their quick response and professionalism while handling the situation. We are thankful that no serious injuries were reported.”
