Steinbach RCMP responded to three separate reports of domestic assault over the weekend.

The first incident happened Friday at 5:07 pm. Police say it took place in Steinbach. A 34-year-old male from Steinbach now faces charges of assault with a weapon. The man was remanded in custody and will appear in Winnipeg court Monday morning.

Then on Friday at 9:36 pm, a second incident occurred, this time in La Broquerie. Police say a 52-year-old male from Winnipeg now faces charges of assault and mischief under $5,000.

And finally, on Saturday at 10:40 pm, a domestic assault occurred in Steinbach. Police say, as a result, a 24-year-old male from Steinbach faces charges of assault.

Meanwhile, on Sunday at 4:52 pm, police responded to an incident in Steinbach involving a 26-year-old male from Steinbach. According to RCMP, the male now faces charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. No other details are available.
