Steinbach RCMP respond to multiple domestic assaults over weekend

Steinbach RCMP responded to two separate domestic assaults over the weekend.

The first report came in on Saturday at 9:45 pm. Police say the alleged incident happened in Marchand. As a result, a 42-year-old male from Marchand is facing charges of assault and two counts of failing to comply with undertaking conditions.

The second incident was reported to police on Monday at 1:20 am. Police say it happened in Steinbach. As a result, a 39-year-old male from Steinbach faces charges of assault.

No additional information has been provided for either incident.
