A motorist from Steinbach has had his license suspended after being caught driving while impaired.

Steinbach RCMP stopped the driver Sunday at 2:15 am near Frantz Inn. Police say the 27-year-old male received a 90-day suspension, 30-day vehicle impoundment for immediate roadside suspension and was also charged for driving while disqualified.

No other information has been provided.

Meanwhile in a separate incident Saturday evening, Steinbach RCMP charged a 24-year-old male from the city with driving while disqualified. That happened on Steinbach's Main Street at 8:25 pm.
