After two days of generous donations from local residents and businesses, the Steinbach Community Christmas toy shelves are full.

“I just walked through and saw the baby Yoda, and ahh, it’s so cute, it just makes me feel warm and fuzzy.”

Toy Coordinator Joanne Dyck says she is very happy to see the number of toys almost equal to those donated last year with an estimated total of 1,000 received over the last two days.  She does report, however, that they are still in need of about 100 more, with the majority required for the 3 - 10-year-old age group. 


Those who would still like to donate toys can drop them off at Southeast Helping Hands food bank or make a donation online.
