Soccer Park Soon Ready

Grass at the Steinbach soccer complex will be ready in time to start regular season play next week. That from Parks and Rec Department head Russ Dyck. He notes the grass is a bit dry on top but came through the winter okay. Crews have started irrigation on all pitches and the grass is staring to green up. Dyck explains watering was started a bit sooner than normal just to give the grass a head start. Regular season practices will start next Monday but there may be some adult exhibition games later this week.
