It is another morning of tricky driving conditions in southern Manitoba.

Snow mixed with rain, combined with temperatures near the freezing mark have created slick highways. In your Boyd Autobody and Glass Road Report, both the Perimeter Highway and the Trans Canada Highway east of Winnipeg have reopened after being closed for several hours early this morning. Elsewhere, many highways in the southeast are reported as snow covered with slush. In Steinbach, streets are icy.

There are snow plows out. We have been hearing from motorists saying there are vehicles in the ditch between Steinbach and Winnipeg; many of those vehicles are now sitting in water.

Environment Canada is calling for one more day of winter weather before things start to improve. In Steinbach, you can expect the periods of snow to end near noon. Winds will be from the north, gusting to 70 kilometres per hour. Friday's forecast is calling for sunshine and 8 degrees.
