SCS Celebrating Kids Who Had A Birthday During Summer Holidays

As a student, If your birthday is during Summer Holidays, Spring Break or Christmas Break, you miss out on celebrating with your class. For many years, Steinbach Christian School has had a cake day at the start of the school year to celebrate these students. It lined up with the former Principal, Emery Plett's birthday. 

The new Principal, Thor Barkman wanted to continue the tradition. So, he renamed the celebration "Mr Oliver In Finance Cake Day". This way they could celebrate the kids and help them to get to know the office staff a little better. Mr. Oliver's birthday is during Summer Holidays as well. So, he can relate to what the kids miss out on.
