A school bus driver has been charged following a crash Wednesday in Steinbach.
The collision happened at approximately four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, at the intersection of McKenzie Avenue and Main Street.
According to Steinbach RCMP, a 24-year-old male was driving a Buick Le Sabre east down Main Street. At the same time, the driver of a westbound school bus attempted a left turn onto McKenzie, in front of the car.
Police say as a result of the crash, the 24-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There were 13 children aboard the bus. They were all checked by EMS and cleared.
The 68-year-old male bus driver has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to yield right of way.
