There are only 44 days until the 2021-2022 Manitoba Junior Hockey League's 54-game regular season schedule is over.

All 12 teams have had to postpone and reschedule at least one game because of difficult weather and road conditions this winter as well as COVID-19 concerns.

The Steinbach Pistons own an eight point lead over the Winnipeg Blues in the race for top spot in the East Division while the first place Dauphin Kings have a one point lead on the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the West.

Steinbach will play nine of its final 19 games at the T.G. Smith Centre.

The Pistons have a hectic month of February with 12 games on the schedule.

Eight of those are away from home.
