With the sun setting and temperatures dropping, fresh snow is starting to stick to the roads in southeastern Manitoba and conditions are quickly deteriorating.

There have already been a number of reports of vehicles hitting the ditch as a result of snow-packed, slippery highways.

As of 10 P.M. Easter Sunday, Manitoba 511 is reporting that most highways in the Southeast are partly snow-covered, with blowing and drifting snow, and some slush. For an up-to-date road condition map, you can always check the Boyd Autobody and Glass Road Reports and Cancellations page.

According to Environment Canada, approximately 5 centimetres of snow is expected to accumulate Sunday night with an overnight low of minus 6 degrees. Forecasts are calling for things to clear up Monday morning.
