Three people were taken to hospital following a collision Wednesday morning on Provincial Road 303, or Ridge Road.

The intersection of Ridge Road and Blatz Road. Surfaces are very icy this Wednesday morning.Steinbach RCMP say it happened around 6:30 a.m., four miles west of Highway #12, near Municipal Road 29 (Blatz Road).

Investigators say two cars, one headed east and the other going west, collided due to icy road conditions.

There were two younger males in one vehicle and one younger male in the other.

Two of the injured were transported to hospital in Winnipeg and the other was taken to Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach.

Police say their injuries are not life-threatening.
