For the third year in a row, Keith Unger and his team at RE/MAX in Steinbach have won top RE/MAX real estate team in Manitoba.

Unger says his team had the highest number of transactions in 2016 out of all RE/MAX teams in Manitoba and were in Las Vegas earlier this week to accept the award. He adds he has been in real estate for 14 years and what drives him in his career is helping someone find the home where they will live, have a family, and raise their kids.

Unger notes there are a few goals he would like to work towards this year. "[I would like to] continue to be innovative in the new home business and try to work with builders to create more innovation and interesting options. But most importantly, keep meeting people who want to move to the Steinbach area and help build the community."

Unger says his team was not the only award to be brought back from Las Vegas. He notes administrator Doris Broesky won RE/MAX Administrator of the Year for all of western Canada.

"She holds us all together. She is very thorough when it comes to the details," says Unger. "At times our business can be very fast paced and things can get overlooked, but nothing gets by Doris. She is a very irreplaceable part of the company."

He adds, in hockey, each player on the team needs to play their position to achieve a mutual end goal, noting in real estate, it's the same idea.
