Provencher Member of Parliament Vic Toews senses a lot of Canadians throwing their support behind Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Vic Toews says that's about all that can be taken out of the latest public opinion poll. The poll has the Conservatives with a 14 point lead over the Liberals. But Toews typically doesn't read much into polls because he believes they are not an accurate reflection of the party as a whole but rather a reflection of the work of its leader. If that's the case he says it's safe to say Canadians are confident with the work of Harper and consider him a man who gets the job done.
