Kids enjoying the new skate park
Mitchell is now home to a beautiful new skatepark that is 5,200 square feet.
Two years ago a young boy from Mitchell wrote a letter to Hanover Council, requesting a skate park for his community.
Hanover Reeve Stan Toews said it is not very often that his council receives a letter from an 11-year-old.
Brian Esau represents Mitchell on Hanover's council. He notes they began working on the skate park a few years ago after they got several requests from young people in the area.
